Villa del Lago has 1, 2 and 3-bedroom serviced apartments with outdoor taps for bike washing, bike rental, secure bike storage and e-bike charging. There is also free parking, wifi, and storage/drying lockers for skis and boards. Each apartment has a a living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen and laundry.
The accommodation is conveniently located lakeside on Lake Wakatipu and right on the bike/walking trail 2km from town and 3km to the Skyline gondola to access Queenstown bike park.

Queenstown locality
Queenstown and its surroundings are internationally renowned for its skiing and mountain biking and has options for many forms of cycling, from Heli biking to family friendly cycling. There is gondola access to the Queenstown bike park nearby town, Wynyard and Gorge road jump parks are also located close by. Two other lift assisted bike parks are located at Coronet Peak and Cardrona which also run a ski season. The Remarkables is also close by offering ski season lift access only. All three are a short drive away. If you are not an advanced bike rider wanting to ride park or jumps, there are plenty of trails to suit all skill levels. Queenstown has plenty of cycling tour operators and options from the extreme to casual winery cycle tours. Bike shuttle services also operate from Queenstown to popular destinations.Queenstown has a vast network of trails linking nearby towns which make for scenic short, all day or multi-day rides.
Bike park season dates run approximately from September to May. Ski season runs approximately June to October. Dates vary by region and year, please check the below links for specific dates.
