Taff Trail Bunkhouse has some great features for cyclists including secure bike storage and self-serve laundry. It is located 3.4 km Bike Park Wales and also on the Taff Trail a popular 88km cycling route between Cardiff and Brecon. It is a 7km cycle north to Merthyr Tydfil.

5km north of town is the creation of ex world cup racer Dan Atherton, Dyfi Bike Park. Set in Dyfi forest, there are 11 trails, vehicle uplift, café and food at the trailhead. The terrain can be rugged, trails are rated from red upwards and is suited to more experienced mountain bikers.
