Davis Brook Retreat B&B is a good option for mountain bikers, located close to the Coast Gravity Park and other Sunshine Coast trail networks. The B&B offers bike storage and access to laundry facilities by request. The B&B has a pool, free wifi and parking, shared kitchen and living room. Sechelt town in just over 7km away with paid shuttle access to restaurants, cafes and bike shops. There is a breakfast option for a fee and mobile massage by booking. Room options are doubles or a family room sleeping 4. Blue Ocean Golf Club, a championship 18 hole course, is 11km away. 2 other golf courses can be found further away in Roberts Creek and Pender Harbour.

British Columbia and Whistler locality
World renounced for its mountain biking and skiing, Whistler is quite often referred to as the most popular mountain bike park in the world and one of the premier ski resorts in the world. The Whistler area caters to a wide variety of cycling from casual cycling and kids trails to downhill and pro lines. There are loads of facilities in the Whistler Village including ski/bike shops, rental and repair, there is also coaching available and camps for both ski and mountain biking. British Columbia has a massive amount of mountain biking destinations to choose from including Vancouver Island, Kamloops, Sun Peaks, Silverstar, Revelstoke, Squamish and more.
Just across the border east in Alberta is Banff, the terminus of the epic Great Divide Trail, well known by bikepackers and hikers and also has a bike race, the tour de divide.
For golfers, the Arnold Palmer designed Whistler Golf club and Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club are right beside the Whistler Village while the Nicklaus North Golf Course (designed by Jack Nicklaus) is a few kilometres north. There are 3 more courses further afield in Pemberton and Squamish. While not known so much for road cycling, there are plenty of routes and events held in the Whistler area and plenty of destinations to cycle to including Vancouver Island.
